What's Sewing On? Oh, SEW MUCH!
We had so much fun during our first Anniversary celebration, and we hope you did too! We appreciate you coming out and supporting this small business, and participating in Heart Day, Crazy Hair Day, and Pajama Day! Such a good time! We gave away over $1,000.00 in prizes, got to visit with so many wonderful quilters that we've met over this last year, and met amazing new quilters too!
Thank you especially to everyone who brought cards, flowers, goodies, and gifts to wish us a Happy Anniversary! We simply have the best quilt community ever! Our Cotton Hearts were bursting at the seams!
Closed for Maintenance, Repair & Expansion
If you recall in the last newsletter, I mentioned we were renovating around here. We're still at it! We're open today, Tuesday, April 22nd - from 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m., but will be closed from Wednesday April 23rd - April 30th for maintenance, repair and a bit of expansion. We'll be back on Thursday, May 1st from 10:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. to kick off two months of fun during the All Indiana Shop Hop! Woo Hoo!
Night Club & Day Club
Even though we're closed, we're still having our Night Club on Thursday April 24th from 5:30-7:00 p.m., and on Friday the 25th from 12:00-1:30 p.m. for our Day Club! Register online now to be entered for a prize drawing and reserve your seat.
This month we'll be sharing tips for the Indiana Shop Hop, and giving you a sneak peek at some of the goodies we'll be sharing during that time! As always, we love Sew & Tell and to see what you've been up to! We love every kind of show and tell, but if you've made something from fabric here at Cotton Hearts, as well as a pattern, or even a free pattern online, you may be selected to be a "Featured Quilter!"
A "Featured Quilter" will have their quilt or project hung in the shop to inspire other quilters - beginners and advanced! Although we appreciate seeing all your hard work in any fabric - when something is displayed here at the shop it's important that those patterns and fabrics are available - when your creation has inspired someone to make something like yours! All Featured Quilters receive 10% off purchases for an entire month!
Last month we had so many beautiful quilts and projects to pick from! We've selected these local quilters for their workmanship and choice of fabrics. They've done an excellent job! Congratulations; Barb Werblo, Marily Brucken, Mary Kay Mabry, Donna Cook, Linda Hayhurst, and Carolyn Belko! We'd like to invite you to display your quilts (and cross-stitch) here during the month of May during our Shop Hop, and show travelers just what our local Hoosiers are made of!

Starting May 1st, we'll have special Shop Hours that will go through the entire two months. There will be two extended weekends for our Northwest Region that we will be open on Sundays as well, so hoppers have a chance to travel to all the shops in a region on a given weekend.
