Our shop is full and we have lots of new fabric on the way! It was all too beautiful, and I was just way too excited! What can I say, I've never owned a quilt shop before! I've learned a lot, and I have a lot more to learn. But for now our shop is BURSTING AT ITS 1/4" SEAMS! Sew many gorgeous bolts, and sew little space! Such a dilema!

Reserve your table with $25.00, and your $25.00 will be applied as an in-store credit to your account to be used during the retreat... DURING THE SALE! Pack up your sewing machine and prepare for a few days of quilting, relaxing, laughing and fun!

You’ll have your own table, side table with wool pads, and a comfy roller chair in a well-lit room. We open early for you Sunbonnet Sues, and stay late for you late night Block Stars! We have a design wall, ironing space at every table, two large ironing boards and large Oliso irons, and a 4’x8’ cutting table. Of course the quilt shop will be open for shopping all weekend! You’ll receive a goody bag and name tag for the weekend, and there will be PRIZES! There’s a refrigerator so you can bring what you want to drink, and a Keurig in case you want to bring your favorite Keurig pods! We have a microwave and a Ninja mini-oven if you want to bring your own food. But also there's a Subway, DQ, Pav's, Taco Bell, Wana & Bronko's Pizza, and First Brew Coffee Shop & Rise-N-Roll Doughtnuts in town. And Uber Eats delivers to the shop!

I really appreciate everyone who has sent me a text or email, and stopped by to say hello and see how I was doing since my recent trip down the ladder! I'm doing my best to rest. I do need to have back surgery, and that's scheduled for June 20th. While I'm out of the shop, you're all in very capable and dedicated hands, the Cotton Hearts Crew is here to take care of you! After my surgery I'll have to continue to rest for about two months, so for now we aren't scheduling any new classes. I'll be spending my time recuperating in the classroom. I still won't be able to use a ruler and rotary cutter, lift an iron, a bolt of fabric, or stand for long durations of time. But I'll still be able to sew! During this time I'll be inviting you all for weekly Sit-N-Sews! I'll be sending weekly emails to announce what I'm working on, if it's something you're interested in you can join me and follow along, or you can just come and work on whatever project you have going on at the moment!

Thank you for your understanding, patience, and kindness as we work through this. Your thoughts, prayers, well wishes, hugs, worry, and concern mean the world to me, and I'm so grateful and truly blessed. My cotton heart is bursting from its 1/4" seams.

WOOL ART: CHRISTMAS IN JULY

Susie will be back on July 13th, with more incredible wool art!

Join Susie in this fun four hour class, as she shows you how to make these adorable wool Christmas decorations! No wool, or sewing experience needed! We're bringing this class to you early so you have plenty of time to make these for presents. Order as many kits as you need! All the supplies you need come in a nicely arranged box and ready to make. We'll supply the irons, the only thing you need to bring are sharp micro-tipped scissors for cutting wool. Susie is a fun and thorough teacher and her classes are well planned and thought through. We all enjoyed making the African Violets & Lavender in her last class!

Materials Needed: Serrated blade, micro tipped scissors. Susie recommends Karen Kay Buckley Blue Scissors, and we offer them at a special class discounted price of $27.00.

FEATURED QUILTER of the MONTH: MARY KAY MABRY

Mary Kay is our featured quilter of the month! She brought her quilt to our Show & Tell at the May Cotton Hearts Club, and her quilt was selected! What does that mean? That means that she receives 10% off for the entire month and her quilt is on display here for everyone to enjoy and be inspired by! She used fabric from the shop, "It's a Boy", and the free pattern, "Layer Cake Loop" and made the most adorable quilt! Come in and see what she created! We've been enjoying Mary Kay's visits this month, and we got to meet her husband too. He's a very supportive Quilt Husband!
